Red Cedar Book Club
The Red Cedar Book Club is based on 10 Canadian books that are nominated for BC. Only one will win the title of the award. Mrs. Bonin starts book talking at the beginning of the year, and kids read through them. In January, we start up our group.
There will be a finale Battle of the Books with kids from the whole district at the beginning of May, and it will be virtual again this year.

Important Information for Red Cedar 2022-2023:
- School Battle for the top six students to represent Heritage School will take place on
SPRING 2023 TBD
- District Battle will take place hopefully in person
How to practice
- Read all 10 Red Cedar books
- try the practice quiz online as many times as you'd like. Take it each time after you'd read a book
- Read through the photocopied pages about the author and dedications of the books
- If you are reading a book for a second time, make up your own Red Cedar questions on slips on paper to quiz yourself, or call a friend
