Mrs. Bonin is back, and I'd like to share information about the BC Summer Reading Club with you! Usually, the Public Library hosts a reading program each summer for kids to participate in a reading log, and to visit for fun activities. This year, it's all ONLINE! https://bcsrc.ca/parents/

I've explored the website a bit and it looks like it will be a cool way to check in for the summer with your reading, and to participate in some great activities. You can register now, and everything gets started on June 29th. They will post weekly activities, such as DIY, colouring pages, trivia, live events with an astronomer, and more! You can learn how to create a stop motion video, and then post anything that you create online to share. If you read for 7 weeks in the summer, you earn digital badges along the way, and then get a certificate at the end of the summer. It's for all ages, and geared toward elementary school. If you sign up, please send Mrs. Bonin a message through this website to let her know that you're still reading!
